Hey guys. I’ve been thinking about this a bit recently and wanted to share my thoughts with you lot. Providing we qualify for the World Cup in Russia, here is team I would like to see there.

GK – Fraser Forster – A mammoth of a man and is turning out to be a brilliant goalkeeper.

RB – Nathaniel Clyne – One of the players of Southampton’s season and sure to move to a bigger club soon. So fast and can score a goal too.

CB – John Stones – Only 20 years old and already revered by the Everton faithful. Excellent defender with great technique on the ball.

CB – Calum Chambers – Used as right back by Arsenal but many (like me) see him as a centre back and I think he’ll turn out to be an outstanding one.

LB – Kieran Gibbs – If he can stay injury free for a prolonged period he will finally fulfil his massive potential.

MF – Jordan Henderson – Has improved ridiculously at Liverpool and will probably be England captain at the World Cup.

MF – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – I think his best position is in the centre, and with a few more years of progression he will be an England regular.

MF – Wayne Rooney – He will be in the twilight of his career at that point and that will see him move into midfield. Great vision and passing will see him excel there.

FW – Daniel Sturridge – Great pace and finisher, injury record may prove his downfall though.

FW – Raheem Sterling – Will be an awesome player in three years time, mark my words!

FW – Harry Kane – What a first season in the Premier League. Impossible seeing it being a fluke, as he has just scored too many.

Possibles – Ross Barkley, Saido Berahino, Jack Wilshere, James Ward-Prowse

What do you think of these picks?
